The Variety

Alphonso.

Harvest season

Typically April to June [Season window to be confirmed]

Alphonso (Mangifera indica) is widely regarded as the king of mangoes. Its intensely aromatic, low-fibre flesh carries flavour through dilution, which is why it remains the reference variety for premium mango beverages, dairy and dessert work.

Alphonso is naturally rich in carotene — a precursor of Vitamin A — and contributes a deep golden-orange colour without added colourants. Fruit is allowed to ripen properly before processing so that aroma and sweetness are fully developed at the point of pulping.
